Customer Reviews

Comments: I just broke open my second pare of Lone Peaks and love them. I struggled with injury after injury until I found these. the first pair got me threw a 50K 50 mile and 100K with no issues, save that the stitching blew out way before the sole was warn out. Not the most durable or lightest but Ill keep running in them because they keep my feet happy.

Comments: I've had 2 runs in them (5mi & 8.5mi) and they felt a lot better on my second run. I'd been running in the Olympus, so I'm chalking it up to getting used to (again) a thinner sole. But I'm not complaining - I felt great in these on my last run! I ran today in them & my legs are ready to go again. I believe I can take these on much longer trail runs with no problem. I'm sold on Altra & this shoe is another comfortable one in their line. I feel the room for my toes, but the shoe's not "clunky" or bulky. Good traction on dirt & loose rock. I wear a size 9 and they're true to size for me. I weighed them at home & they came out at 10 ounces. I got the red - was a little hesitant - but I'm glad I did...awesome! I'm going to like going back & forth from my Olympus to my Lone Peak 1.5...I highly recommend these!

Comments: I just bought a pair at the expo for the San Francisco Rock and Roll Half Marathon and used them in the race without ever having worn the shoe before. While I know doing so was unadvisable, I absolutely loved the shoes and had no issues. They are very comfortable. Thanks!

Comments: I have been running on these new Altra Lone Peaks for about 2 weeks and I am impressed and very happy with them. I run about 30 miles a week and often run on trails. I run about a 10 minute pace on trails and I find that these shoes ride well over stumps, rocks, gravel and brush debris. I have very long toes and the large toe box is perfect for me. I normally ware a size thirteen US but I find the 12.5 US Altra fits just right. I like the velcro tab on the back of the shoe for the trail gaiter. My longest run so far with them has been 14 miles and at that distance my feet begin to swell and I still had plenty of room for my toes. I plan on doing a 50 k trail run and I am confident these Lone Peaks will be great. I highly recommend them.
