Zero drop meets cushioning in the Altra Torin 1.5. Built on a level platform, this trainer encourages an efficient stride, while a wide toebox and foot-shaped fit allow for natural toe splay. Underneath, a padded midsole absorbs impact and keeps you protected from the road so you can log those long miles.

Customer Reviews

Comments: Torin has been my go to every day shoe from everything from few miles to a long 18-20 mile run. They are great every day trainer.
From: Emir, Flourtown, PA, USA. January 4th 2015

Comments: I used them on Road and trails. Summer races on trails they do great but wouldn't recommend on snow or ice. Run from a short run to 100mile race. Comfy under my foot and over my foot. After reading reviews on here looks like people go off a single run to rate a shoe. It takes me 20-50 miles to break a shoe. I didn't like the Torin after 5 miles, I love them after 40miles on them.
From: Jano, Colorado Springs, CO, USA. November 11th 2014

Comments: I'd read many glowing reviews of the Olympus so tried the Torin to get relief from occasional knee pain on long runs. Unfortunately, I'm underwhelmed. The large toe box tends to flex awkwardly and pinches the top of my foot. The cushioning is nice but doesn't seem to be much better than my Brooks Ghost 6. I find myself reaching for the Brooks, even on 10+ mile runs.
