The Altra Torin 1.5 is a zero-drop, natural daily running shoe designed for a neutral foot motion, ideal for training or marathon racing.

Zero drop meets cushioning in the Altra Torin 1.5. Built on a level platform, this trainer encourages an efficient stride, while a wide toebox and foot-shaped fit allow for natural toe splay. Underneath, a padded midsole absorbs impact and keeps you protected from the road so you can log those long miles.

Customer Reviews

Comments: I love these shoes, really I do, but they only last for about 250 miles. The soles wear down and compress and they just feel awful to run in after that. For the first 200 miles, they're great, but then they go downhill quickly. I love the wide forefoot and zero drop with cushioning, but I just can't afford to buy new shoes every month and a half.

Comments: I went on my first 4 mile run in these new shoes. I have previously worn the original torins. For comparison, I always felt my size 11 women's torins where a half size too small. Unfortunately they do not come in a 11.5 and the mens are too ugly and wide for me. The new Torins are fantastic!! They are a half size larger than previous. I would recommend 1/2 size larger than street shoes. I do not feel like they have quite the same cushion as the previous version but that is fine with me.
