Customer Reviews

Comments: I'm a huge fan of Brooks...that being said, these are my least favorite Brooks ever!!! They felt light until I ran in them. They were heavy & awkward to run in. They immediately caused shin pain after the 1st mile. I tried to adjust the shoe & I still couldn't find the comfort in running with them. Aesthetically they're vibrant & super cute. They are very comfortable to walk in. I'm returning them because $80 walking shoes was not what I was looking for. Also, a few of the women I run with bought them too & 3 out of the 4 agreed they caused shin pain & we're awkward/heavy to run in. I've had success with the Pure Cadence, Glycerin's, & Pure Connect's.

Comments: Not the same as 5 and 6! Comfortable around the house, but after running 3 miles my feet were killing me and I could barely walk. Total waste of money since they're now collecting dust in my closet.

Comments: This is my 1st pair of Brooks, and I love them! Wore them this morning straight out of the box , did a 10 mile run, with no problems. Sometimes with longer runs my toes on my right foot will hurt, but not with these. The support is great, with a roomy toe box. Definitely won't be my last pair!

Comments: The shoe runs narrow, I had pain on the outer edge of the big toe on each foot after just an hour of wearing, and I don't have bunions. The fabric on shoe is not mesh, it's a nylon and DOES NOT BREATHE. I definitely would not recommend these shoes. My feet sweat horribly while wearing them, I returned them after the first day.

Comments: I loved the Ghost 6 and have run high mileage with it for years (50-60 miles/wk). Not a single blister or sore ankle. The Ghost 7 has given me a blister after 1 run. My forefoot feels like it is sliding/moving around in the shoe. Today I tried to snug the laces but that did not do the trick. Nice looking shoe but a different fit.

Comments: I worn ghost 5 & 6 for years. When to buy another pair, but it was ghost 7. Not the same. It hurt my feet so bad. I return them hoping when the new ghost 8 comes out I will but another pair. So far I am wearing the old ones. I work on cement floors all day so I need a pair of good shoes. I hope I can find another pair in a 7 wide on the web somewhere .

Comments:I am a fairly new runner between pavement and treadmill and had a pair of asics gt 1000 that I have worn to death. Have previously tried cumulus 14, Pegasus, and kayanos. Was recommended the Brooks Ghost 7 by my running coach and have to say I'm quite impressed. Normally I have issues finding comfortable shoes given I'm a neutral runner with extremely low arches, who isn't the lightest, but prefer barefoot running to anything, given all of my foot issues. The Ghost7 are amazing and no need for the orthotics I have to use normally in prior running shoes. Definitely recommend to others to try and keep an open mind regardless of past experience of the Brooks Ghost family shoes.

Comments: I typically run 20-30 miles per week between treadmill, pavement, and trails. I wore the Brooks Glycerin 11 previously and loved it, but wanted to try something with a little bit firmer ride. I wear Brooks almost exclusively - no other brand even comes close to fitting my foot the way Brooks does. I put these on and immediately fell in love - I even asked to wear them out of the store! My first couple of runs in them were shorter than usual, and I have yet to take them out for more than 6 miles at a time, but I have absolutely no complaints thus far. I didn't experience any of the typical 'breaking in' issues (blisters, hot spots, joint aches, etc...). I will definitely be recommending these to all of my neutral-footed friends! :)
