The Brooks Glycerin 12 gets a superb improvement with the new Super DNA midsole. It is hard to up the comfort on the Glycerin, but with 25% more cushioning than the BioMoGo midsole of previous models, this upgrade does the trick. Add in the supremely comfortable upper and every element of this shoe is meant to make you feel like you are running on a cloud.

Customer Reviews

Comments: I have an ankle problem and cannot wear ordinary shoes but since having a pair of Glycerin 12's am able to wear my stabiliser and am able to now walk comfortably. Sorry I can now longer run but have had a number of enquiries about my lovely shoes and praise them mightily for the comfort I have. Thanks.

Comments: I had been running in the Saucony Ride for about 3 years with no problems. However when I updated to the Ride 6, I started to experience shin splints and pain in my right knee (probably from compensation from left > right shin pain). Honestly, I'm not sure if I got a bad pair or if the update just didn't meet my needs. I debated trying another pair of Sauconys (Ride 7 vs. Triumph), but when I tried on the Glycerins, I decided to go with it. I've worn the Glycerin before (like 10 years ago), but these feel so lightweight compared to what I remember of the ancient versions. It sounds cliche, but they are so smooth and easy to wear that I feel like I am running on air. My shin and knee pain is completely gone after about 4 weeks in the Glycerin. Not knocking Saucony (they are a very similar feel in many ways and a great shoe that I swore by for years), but I am 100% happy with the Glycerin. (neutral runner, currently 20ish miles per week)
