Comments: Great shoe. Brooks rocks. great service by the staff of the Running Warehouse.
From: Douglas, Los angeles, CA. 2/27/14

Comments: I've put almost 100 miles on these and so far I am very impressed. I like the asymmetric lacing. I don't have to tighten the laces as much, and the fit is snug. Good cushioning for a lightweight shoe, but not so much that it takes away from performance. I go between these and a pair of Saucony Virratas, and so far I prefer the PC2 without a doubt.
From: Jeremy, Henderson, TX. 1/29/14

Comments: Having taken my mid-foot strike & adjusted to Newtons putting 400 miles on a pair, I thought I'd try something new. The marketing for this line of shoes caught my attention, so I ordered the PureFlow2 & the PureConnect2 with the intent of keeping only one. The flow is cushy & has more outsole tread, but the Connect˜much more minimalist˜just fit my narrow, high arched foot better. Others have noted the lacing: it is different, but I was able to get the right feel by tugging one lace a little stronger than the other. One more thing I'd like to point out: these do have a long, high arch in the insole that fit me well but was noticeable versus my Newtons or Nike Vomeros. Overall: Light & comfy; snug fit; can't wait to fly down the road some more.

Comments: The new asymmetrical lacing is awkward, and does not offer me the same secure fit that I felt with the first version of the shoe. It also makes my foot-pod almost useless. I prefer the earlier version.

Comments: Great shoe, and so light that it hugs your feet like you aren't wearing shoes at all. I use it daily for my 10-15 mile walks and still feel great!!! Worth the money!
From: DC, Margate, NJ, USA

Comments: I think I am going to become a convert. The shoe feels great, hugs your feet, is very light and the cushioning is just right. The split toe makes a big difference in the forefoot for me who is using this as a transition shoe from a Newton Gravity

Comments: I agree with David's review. The 2 has a much more superior upper and that was my problem with the 1's was the nav-band being intrusive on my high instep. The fit is the "like a glove" fit but not overly tight on the foot. Of course the shoe is lightweight, super cushy and can be used for any form of slow/med/fast training. Personally i really like the arch bump, feels great on longer runs. Overall..highly recommend it and running warehouse.

Comments: I admittedly ran in the Pureconnect 1 since the day it came out in my local running shop. The 2 has a superior upper with better breathability and I like the burrito tongue; in fact it makes the nav-band feel less intrusive to me. A lot of people complain with the fit, it's a narrow shoe with a pronounced arch. It just happens to fit my foot perfectly. I use it for all my long runs and marathons, its pretty much become my everyday trainer, and it's versatile enough for speedwork too.
