Customer Reviews

Comments: I've bought three pairs of the Bondi 3 shoes over two years (have to change shoes every 300 to 400 miles or your feet will suffer from the shoe breaking down) and I love every single pair -- I have recommended them to my friends who are running and need a good, supportive shoe. I run half- and full marathons and these shoes protect and cushion my feet like my Brooks Ghosts and Nikes can't. Running in my Hoka Bondi 3s is like running on marshmallows, and they have a 'zero-lift' effect so I don't feel like I am running on my tip-toes when my shoes make contact with the ground. Note that I do not wear them for short runs (less than 5 miles), but use them for longer runs (greater than 5 miles) and also use them for all-day shopping trips! (They are THAT comfortable.) This price is an incredible price and unfortunately they no longer have my size on this website or I would grab a fourth pair for the time when my third pair wears out and a new pair is needed. The shoes have a wide toe box, are extremely comfortable and very light in weight. They are stable and flat when at rest, and I don't feel like I am "rocking backwards" when I'm standing still. I don't care for the speed laces the shoes come with (although some people love them), but that comment is not a complaint, just a preference. I am a Hoka Bondi fan, and when my last pair of 3s wear out (after 300 miles), then I will buy the 4s.

Comments: I bought two pairs of these shoes. Same size, Same color and they are cut completely different. One pair is so comfortable I can run for hours and the other pair I can barely walk in. They cut into my ankles and give me blisters. They should be more aware of the quality control when being made. I have three other pairs of Hokas and they are amazing!!! Hoka is amazing with their costumer service. Being these are not the latest version I'm sure the problem has been solved.

Comments: I bought these because so many of my coworkers (nurses) have them and love them and said they no longer suffer with foot pain or plantar faciitis. I have plantar faciitis, bunions, bunionettes, and rheumatoid arthritis. As a hospital unit secretary, I do a lot of walking, standing, and going up and down the stairs, so I thought these would be a good choice for me. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed in them. I have a wide foot, and the B width was just too narrow for me. The toe box was actually pretty roomy in the front, but the sides of the shoe were too tight for me. My pinky toe and bunionette area were very reddened and irritated after wearing this shoe for only an hour in the house. So if you have a wide foot, I would not recommend this shoe. Overall, it is a very well-made shoe and ran true to size. I definitely would not size down. One of my coworkers did recommend sizing up a half size if you wear very thick socks.

Comments: I received my shoes today. Came as noted within 2 business days, free shipping - awesome! Sizing was correctly recommended; I normally wear size 10B and ordered 9.5 which fit perfect. Wearing them around the house I feel they are too hard; I expected a more cushioned feel. The inner arch on the left shoe is irritating as if too elevated. The right however is fine. I will return these and possibly try another model before giving up on Hoka's.

Comments: Just got my shoes today and wore them around the house. I wear a 91/2 and that's what I ordered. They ride high on my ankle bone and are too roomy, even with the thick sock I was wearing. I will have to return them and try a different size or model.

Comments: I do not like the tongue at all in the shoe, can't get it to lay flat, is not comfortable. I have the Bondi 4 also and like this much better

Comments: Wonderful running shoe! Just took them out today for a 22 miler along the Boston Marathon course. Did not feel the almond-sized neuroma in my right foot at all. Like running on a cloud. I have tried Asics, Brooks , Saucony. This is the best shoe for runners with neuromas. You won't feel it at all. Thanks for the amazing price! Would love to try some other Hoka One models. Felt the Conquest was too narrow in the forefoot. Bondi 3 is just perfect. Wider forefoot and toe box. Just awesome!

Comments: I got these shoes delivered today. They are so cute. I got 9 1/2 and I have wide feet. It's the end of the day when your feet are swollen and when I tried them on they were not tight. Very comfortable. I don't like the speed laces so I cut those off and put in the regular bright yellow ones that came with it. Those elastic lace garages aren't useful for me so those went too. I love the cushiony sole. I'm not a runner. I have diabetes and I'm overweight so these are great because they have no seams on the inside to make blisters, which is important for diabetics. I wear them to work so my heels don't get sore with tendonitis again. I have another pair, my first, mens Mafate 3 size 8. I got mens to be safe with the width. The length on those seemed a little short at first but I took out the insoles and they fit great. I also got another pair of Mafate 3 in womens 9 1/2 those fit great too. Running Warehouse had such a great deal I had to get 2 pair. They're definitely worth t he money. If you're not a runner but want something cushiony to walk on, Hoka's are the shoes. It's so great to be able to exercise and not have pain in my knees and heels.

Comments: I'm a 43 year old runner. I run 45-55 miles a week runner at 7:30 to 8:30 training pace. I am a bad pronator, and I use custom orthotics in all of my running shoes. I bought the Bondi 3 several months ago. I had really benefited from the first and second generation Bondi Bs. I had to return the Bondi 3 because the upper part at the top of the laces pressed into my foot with every step and caused such bad bruising that I had to take about a week off from running at all in any shoes! Like the commenter above, I felt that the new rigid materials were a poor innovation.

Comments: I have a pair of Bondi and the Stinson Tarmac...this is my second pair of Bondi's and I do not like this pair...the heel has a rigid plastic on it making it very uncomfortable to wear...it will be my last pair of bondi's or any that has the rigid plastic heel.
