Customer Reviews

Comments: Bought Conquest and I am hooked. Returned the NB Fresh Foam and Asics Nimbus I had ordered in favor of another pair. I am a believer. I run high mileage 60-70 weekly for years. Run Half's, Full's, and Ironman's. Compare running in Hoka's on the road to running in a standard shoe on a tread mill. Less fatigue and wear and tear on your joints. Downside is they are UGLY!!! My 10 y/o calls them my "special needs" shoes. Also they tend to run narrow and the tounge is ridiculous. Will cut you on a long run if your not wearing thick-tall socks. Still I will make necessary adjustments to run in these every run. Just won't wear them in public when not running. Come on Hoka, make em attractive!

Comments: I bought these shoes on Tuesday and they showed up on Wednesday. I wore them for a 7mile run and so far the toes have worn down dramatically. I'm going to give them a couple week trial, but it is not looking good for Hoka.

Comments: These are without a doubt the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn. My only complaint is the outer mesh material started to tear in the same spot on both shoes after only a month of wear. After paying 160.00 it was a little disappointing. The shoes are so comfy though that I just ordered my second pair.

Comments: This is an exceptional running shoe. Over time I've purchased most Hoka models offered. While these aren't the most cushy they offer they have the right blend of weight, support, and, cushion and are superior to all the others put together. The tread are SO durable they just don't seem to wear out....unlike Bondi and others. Here are some areas that can use improvement; The pull laces cut into the top of your instep (replace), the width needs to be slightly wider as they run "narrow' and you might need to upsize. If your running in a half marathon, marathon, or, longer your feet will swell as the miles grow thus by making the shoes slightly wider it would compensate for this. When you upsize all shoes can become 'sloppy' or loose in the heel. The shoe tongue is EXCELLENT and not like the Hoka Bondi. The Conquest tongue is fixed so it won't slide down over your instep. It's to bad Hoka doesn't use this tread on some other models (road type) as they are just great . Last suggestion is to remove the adjustable shoe ties and use regular quality laces so they won't continually slip during a LONG run. Love you products so keep improving them Hoka!

Comments: Was looking for a suitable replacement for my beloved Bondi 2 as the Bondi 3 was dreadful. These weren't as soft but also not quite as clunky. In the end they're an adequate replacement. I like them but don't love them. Still, they're a good choice for long road runs. They run very narrow so sizing up may be necessary.

Comments: As a runner with achy knees after many years of running, I look for maximum cushioning. I've been running in the Asics Nimbus for a few years and am generally happy with them. But after watching and reading about Hokas for a while now, I finally had to try the Conquest. I really like them so far - very cushy without being spongy. You definitely will feel the protection of more padding underneath your feet. But after 4 miles or so, even thought the shoe is very light, it starts feeling like a lot of shoe. Still, I am happy with them and will use them for my shorter runs to give my knees a break.
