Comments: Good minimal shoes for wet muddy terrain. A little thin for sharp rocks, strange feeling having the cleats provide cushioning but you get use to it. They are narrow, but i think that helps when they are wet. Perfect for fell running or soggy XC courses. Not as durrable as the Roc lites but still good.

Comments: Overall I feel these shoes had a good concept but lack durability. I bought these shoes because they looked ideal for both playing ultimate frisbee in the grass as well as trail running. I run about 40-60 miles per week depending on the season and play ultimate about 1 game a week recreationally. I like lightweight shoes to train in and use asics hyperspeeds as my trainers on roads and trails with less rocky terrain. So generally I would put in about 10 miles per week on trail with the baregrips and a game of ultimate. After 3 months of this, the mesh part at the toe box  away from the sole. This compromised both stability as well as allowing for pebbles and grit to get in.

I have not had this happen with any other shoe and think it is a design flaw of the shoe. I have a pair of roclite 315s that have lasted me a good couple of years and taken lots of abuse, but to be fair, are a lot heavier.

That being said, the shoes are very light, flexible and have excellent grip. For the short time they lasted they met my needs. Just understand that you will lose some durability due to the extra flexibility at the toe box. I think I will try the x-talon 190s next as they look to be a more traditional shoe design that might last me longer.

Comments: Trusted the bare-grip 200 with getting the job done in the 2012 Tough Mudder New England and they didn't disappoint.  Sure footed thru the muck and obstacles.  No time for break-in and blister free after 10 miles of pounding the Mt Snow terrain.  Good fit for a wider foot...plenty of room in toe box.  Inov-8 nailed it with this trail shoe!

Comments: Love the way these handle the soft terrain and technical trails. I have a wider foot so I skip the socks and they work fine. 10-15 miles of trails weekly for the last three weeks and these are holding up great.

Comments: If you've got narrow feet, have been running in minimal shoes for a sufficient amount of time and don't mind bright green shoes then definitely get these shoes.  I've done about fifty miles in them so far and my calves get way more of a workout than when I wear my X-Talon 212's.  The sole is an improvement over the X-Talons and feels less like you're running in a pair of cleats.  Once I finish dyeing them black these will be the sweetest shoes on the block.  I just hope they can handle abuse as well as the X-Talon's do.
