Customer Reviews

Comments: I traded up from barefoot Merrell's after bruising the balls of my feet on a recent longer trail run. These shoes offer a bit more protection underfoot and the grip is tremendous on all sorts of terrain. The overall comfort is wonderful, instantly gratifying to put on. The sizing is very good - I went with the shoe fitter recommendation and they are perfect. The only downside is that a wider heelcup and a stiffer sole cause the heel to be able to slip a little in the back. The result of tighter lacing is numbness, so I am still playing with lacing patterns and balancing tightness of the shoe with movement of the heel. If I can get this settled out, best trail shoes for me yet. (vs. NB MT010, Merrell Trail Glove).

Comments: I ordered a size up as suggested and love the shoe. It is light and nimble, grips well on dry but not too well on wet, and it drains quickly from creek crossings. I have ran up to a half marathon in them and plan to try a 30 miler in them soon. I currently run 30 miles a week in a variety of shoes and am a 190 lbs. neutral runner.
