  • Infinity Wave extends from the heel to the midfoot and is composed of an elastic thermal plastic material shaped in a horizontal figure eight pattern. This design features large open cavities within the infinity pattern to allow for maximal vertical deformation during heel strike to absorb impact.
  • Mizuno Wave is the continuation of the Infinity Wave into the forefoot. Its wave pattern attenuates impact energy.
  • U4ic is a lightweight midsole that provides optimal shock absorption, durability and a resilient ride.
  • Smooth Ride is located at the lateral heel and across the entire forefoot and is a gender specific network of grooves to minimize the rapid acceleration and deceleration of the foot during transition to create a smooth ride.
  • Extended Wave Plate is located at the bottom of the midfoot and is an extension of the Infinity Wave. It preserves the torsional rigidity between the heel and forefoot.
  • Intercool is a full length ventilation system that allows heat and humidity from inside the shoe to exit via ports located in the midsole of the heel.
  • X10 is located in the heel and forefoot for enhanced traction and is composed of durable carbon rubber.
  • AIRmesh covers the entire upper and provides breathability to keep the foot cool.
  • OrthoLite Sockliner is an anti-microbial and moisture wicking insole that promotes a healthy environment for feet.
  • Dynamotion Fit is Mizuno's design philosophy to create optimal fit with stretch material located in the forefoot and a collar construction that prevents the heel collar from buckling under load.

Customer Reviews

Comments: I can't get enough of these shoes! Like walking and running on air, I highly recommend. I am very flat footed and have plantar fasciitis issues, these shoes keep my feet from hurting no matter what I am doing. Plus, they are gorgeous!

Comments: There is NO WAY I would spend $210.00 for a pair of sneakers - even if they were gold plated. Kind of ridiculous in my opinion.

Comments: I bought these Shoes over ING Marathon Weekend here in New York. Let me say, they are worth every Penny! From the Get they feel as though you are walking on clouds. Once I got them home I took them out for a quick spin around the block and I was even more impressed with the support and the bounce they gave. Normally when I buy running shoes I have to be super careful as they tend to hurt the tops of my foot and my sides Even when buying a wide based shoe. I also have an issue where I tend to get sensitive on my nail beds NO MATTER if I go up a size, put cream on my feet, turn my socks inside out and yadda yadda.. So the next day I took them out for a 5K run and I felt like a million bucks.. The shoes are seriously like running on clouds as well. I didn't feel the contact of the asphalt like I did in my previous shoes. It supported me and even added a little bounce to my step.. Needless to say, I have left my previous shoe company and I am now an official Mizuno wearer. One thing the mizuno pro told me is that these shoes will last me for a very long time... I am hoping that is true.. but at the same time..I hope they keep this design or I'll be buying like 4 more pairs for the future... =) Side Info on Design - The design is based off a Japanese Blow Fish. The Blue being the scales and the pink rings being the bubbles. weekly mileage - 25 miles - 30 miles Training - For a marathon Foot Type - Neutral
