Customer Reviews

Comments: I have about 250 miles on the 1260v3 and have no complaints. They seem plenty supportive and are comfortable. I run mostly on dirt/rock roads, so I can not say how they would perform on the highway. I also run in Saucony Hurricanes. I log about 30 miles/week.

Comments: Started rotating these with my Brooks Adrenaline 14's and liked the support and feel so much I have dropped the 14's out of my rotation. I have flat feet, pronate moderately and run about 20-30 miles/week. The uppers on these shoes are very comfortable-almost "sock like". Fit is also great-no heel slip. The heel and forefoot cushioning is more than the 14's, but not mushy-kinda like a structured cushion feel. Will use these for long to medium distance runs.

Comments: This shoe is ok, but not great. I had an issue with sizing and contacted New Balance about it. They were willing to swap them out with me, but it took over a month for anything to get done. The first pair was extremely narrow feeling. NB gave me a credit to their store and told me to order a EE width ( I have never worn a EE in any shoe). Over a month after I made the inital contact, I recieved my shoes (one week before the little rock marathon) and thy felt too wide. I am tired of messing with NB and their crappy customer service so I will live with these shoes and will stick with the other brands in the future.... I dont think NB will care. This experience was a lot of trouble for a "meh" shoe.

Comments: The 1260 v3 is a terrific shoe. I've been through several generations of Kayanos (plus the Asics 2100 series, the Brooks Trance, PureCadence and the Saucony Hurricane) but the 1260 v3 is in a class by itself. It's supportive while feeling nothing at all like a stability shoe: flexible, lightweight, low to the ground. They just feel fast (even for someone 6-1, 215 lbs.). Durability might be a concern. The forefoot rubber is showing more early wear than I'd expect to see from a shoe at this price point, but that'd be my only negative.
