Customer Reviews

Comments: I purchased these for an upcoming 50-miler. I have been suffering from plantar fasciitis and these shoes felt immediately very comfortable when I put them on. I wear a 10 in most running shoes, and ordered a 9.5 in these and the length was perfect. There is also ample room in the toe box to allow for that late race foot swelling, but somehow, it doesn't feel sloppy and oversized. The only problem that I had is that my heel slipped. I tried doing the heel lock lacing, but then the laces cut into the top of my foot because the tongue is very short. I ended up sending them back. If you have a wider heel and need some support and cushioning, these might be perfect.

Comments: Purchased these shoes when i started training for a 50k. They are roomy in the toebox, which was comfortable during those long runs. They are cushioned, but not heavily cushioned, so i felt that they were more responsive on the trail. I'm also a big fan of the vibram soles. They give the shoe a good grip when climbing over or down rocks. The only downside was that my heels seemed to slip a bit in the shoes. However, i solved that by just using the "heel lock" shoe tie method. Overall i would recommend these shoes and i will definitely buy another pair.

Comments: Bought these shoes a month ago and used them to run in my first trail ultra marathon. Shoes were great, did notice some pain in my heel later in the race and thought my foot had blistered, however it was just from the pounding. The cushioning was good, however a GREAT pair of socks makes a difference (i switched socks 3 times during the race).
