Customer Reviews

Comments: I really liked the Kiger 1 and went through 3 different pairs. After reading about the planned updates for Kiger 2, I looked forward to running in them. ~30 miles in the Kiger 2, I regretfully have to say that I'm disappointed. The firmer midsole of the Kiger 2 is a great change but the uppers are a big let down. The recycled ground plastic reinforcement piece that goes around the shoe laces and heel results in two disappointing results for me. The plastic digs into the top of my foot to the point of bruising and not allowing me to run in them. The plastic reinforcement behind the heel makes it stiff and non-conforming, making heel-slip impossible for me to eliminate - attempting to do so by tightening the laces further made the pressure on the top of my foot even worse. I tried multiple methods of lacing the shoe but couldn't get away from the heel slip and upper foot pain. I'm going to give the Wildhorse a try but hope that this plastic reinforcement is changed or gone f or version 3.
