INTRODUCTION

The Triumph 10 is a maximum feature, moderate neutral shoe designed for daily training and high mileage. It is built with a curved shape.

CUSHIONING

  • SRC Impact Zone made from Super Rebound Compound extends from the heel to the midfoot for improved shock absorption and a smooth heel-to-toe transition.
  • Impact Interface is a thermoplastic elastomer device that provides cushioning and isolates heel impact.
  • Powergrid combines the shock dissipating, responsive Grid technology with the new Powerfoam material to create a cushioned and a responsive ride.

MIDSOLE

  • SSL EVA is Saucony's premium midsole material for lightweight comfort, rebound and durability.
  • Midfoot Support Bridge is a thermoplastic unit that extends from the heel through the midfoot for increased torsional rigidity.

UPPER

  • Open Mesh covering the upper is a breathable lightweight fabric.
  • Sauc-Fit upper provides a comfortable fit and feel, while keeping the foot secure.
  • Hydrator Collar Lining cups the heel and provides next-to-skin comfort while wicking unwanted moisture.
  • Comfortride Sockliner is an open cell sockliner that is antimicrobial and breathable.
  • Strobel Last with the upper stitched to full length HRC Strobel Board, for responsive, enhanced cushioning and a soft underfoot feel.
OUTSOLE
  • XT-900 in the heel is a carbon rubber material that offers durable traction.
  • IBR+ in the forefoot is a lightweight flexible material that offers enhanced cushioning and a responsive ride.

Comments: Love this shoe. No heel slip at all for me. Feels much more supportive than the Launch I usually run in. I feel like the sole is just firmer so it cushions my feet more. I plan to run a marathon in them soon.

Comments: I am a loyal Saucony customer. Loved the Triumph 9, and owned 2 pair. Purchased the 10, stayed with the same size and width. At first they really felt strange and slightly odd on my feet. However, I could not deny that it was a better running shoe than the 9 after an 11 and 13 mile run. My feet were surprisingly comfortable for the entire distance.

Comments: I find the Saucony 10 to be a fairly stable neutral running shoe. I do not run with socks and have never had a blister. Love them.

Comments: Love this shoe! Use it on my extra long runs.

Comments: I'm a 7.5 D and ordered 1/2 size small because of reviews. 7 fit perfect. Even though the reviews said they had heel slip, I had to try them myself. Gave them a test on the treadmill. Major heel slip. So bad my socks would pull down into the heel of the shoe. Laces too short to rig for tighter heel. I'm glad I have some extra Triumph 9's on the shelf. This is the first time I've ever sent shoes back for a refund. I would not recommend the 10's.

Comments: I tried on this shoe recently, but I did not buy them due to: 1. Loose fitting heel and 2. The tongue was way too short and would obviously slip down when you run. Felt as cushioned or more than the Triumph 9 model, but these two problems made it a no go, for me!
From: David, Tempe, AZ

Comments: I agree with Iris, lots of heel slip with this shoe (and I don't wear orthotics), in fact, in my 30+ years of running I cannot recall a shoe with so much heel slippage. If you're looking for a neutral 8mm cushioned shoe from Saucony, consider the Echelon 3 - cushioning is just as good and the heel locks tight.
From: David, Ashburn, VA, USA

Comments: This shoes doesn't have the heel depth and padding as the 9. I wear men's wide and the orthotics don't fit down in the shoe. Waste of money if you wear orthoics.

Comments: Awesome shoe. Great combination of weight and cushion.
From: Chad, Frisco, TX

Comments: A much better ride, more stable heel with a snug fit. A much better shoe than the 9. If you have beefy feet you may need to go wider or up a half size. The last is rockered a bit more too. Great stuff!
