Comments: I finally broke down and got a GPS watch after considering it for a while. I chose this watch over the Garmin Forerunner 10 simply for the price, and I've had it for 1 year now. Not entirely happy, but I feel like I can't complain too much since I only paid $70 for it (about the price for a typical non-GPS watch that can save splits). For one, it takes quite a while to find a signal. Sometimes over 5 minutes, which is a long time when you're standing out in the cold in Chicago and all of your running buddies (with Garmins) got signal within 10 seconds. The battery also drains super fast during the time it's looking for signal. On that note, after a year it doesn't hold a charge for very long; I run 40-50 miles/week and have to charge it about every other day. The USB adapter it came with to charge and hook up to the computer no longer works, but luckily it's not really needed as it can be plugged directly into the computer. Final complaint is that the watch often lo ses signal and/or gets "confused" while I'm running. For instance, today I looked down in the middle of my run to see that I was running "4:50/mile" pace... yeah, definitely not. So that's pretty annoying.

Comments: This watch is AWFUL. Takes forever to connect to GPS, and now after having it a month over a year, I can't even use the watch because the top right button you press to start your run (the "go" button) no longer works! Don't buy! I plan on trying the Garmin Forerunner 10 next!

Comments: I purchased the Soleus GPS Mini and am very disappointed in the performance of the watch and the service of the company. I knew to be careful with the watchband as it connects to the computer to upload information by taking the band apart. After taking the band apart to upload my information twice, the watchband was too loose to stay connected on my wrist. I sent the watch back to Soleus to fix after having it 4 months a it has a 1 year warranty (along with the $12.95 they required to ship it back to me which seemed a little high) and I was sent an invoice for another $42 to fix it because it didn't pass a water test. I sent it to have the band fixed and the watch was never worn in water while running. I feel the band has a serious design flaw and would not recommend to anyone.
