Customer Reviews

Comments: I have had this watch for over a year and been happy with its performance. It picks up a signal fast, it is pretty accurate, and the software is easy to understand. However, I am disappointed in its durability/design. The gps unit itself snaps out of the wristband too easily. This is very problematic because it can fall out and onto the ground causing scratches or cracks in the screen. In fact, mine cracked this week when the unit snapped out of the wristband while I was putting it on. Even worse, after discussing it with their customer service they told me they do not have any repair centers in the U.S. I've had many other sport watches, but never had a screen crack on one. I feel that there should be better durability and better support if I am going to buy a $200 watch.

Comments: I bought this about 16 months ago and I'm very happy with it. Unlike Garmin, which updates their firmware like once a decade, this unit gets automated updated firmware about every two months, adding and refining features. Easy to use and very easy to read due to higher resolution display. I like the very large split times/laps that changes to black on white background for easy visibility while running. The only thing that could be improved is the strap, which is not comfortable the way it closes. Overall, however, I think these are far better than Garmin for the price hands-down.
