Comments: I enjoyed this shoe for what it was, a minimal fast shoe. I used this as a daily trainer, and while I can say that it is a fast shoe, I found it to be a bit too minimal for me. I got around 700 miles on my pair, and I usually get around 500-700 miles on my shoes, depending on the brand. The upper was weird to me at first, but I quickly got used to it. I'm not sure if it was just me, but I could feel the stitching that attaches the three silver stripes to the upper on the inside. It didn't really bother me that much, but I could notice it occasionally. I ran both barefoot and with socks in these comfortably. I would just use this shoe for threshold or tempo runs. I found these shoes to be too flexible for track work or fast intervals. They also breath well, so I found my foot to be a little cold during the winter. These shoes also look very good.

Comments: Wow adidas has a winner here!!!!! I have used altra and saucony virrata....this Gazelle 2 has the best upper and adidas has firm but there cushioning..I have also used the mizuno shoes ....and this adidas shoe hits the sweet spot...I agree one must lock in a good form ... not crazy about looks of shoe...standard shoe size...be prepared for lightness and best upper out there!!!

Comments: I've been running in minimalist shoes now for 5 years. I've evolved to the Adidas Gazelle and use them as my everyday trainer. I love this shoe in every way - please continue to make it, Adidas! It is a real winner for those that have locked in a natural running form. It provides just the right amount of cushioning for road running, not too much, not too little, the responsiveness is totally consistent and reliable. The upper is completely comfortable at all times and in all temperatures (I run down to zero degrees F outside). The shoe requires good natural running form, but when you are conditioned to provide that, these shoes perform like a dream!
