Customer Reviews

Comments: I've had the Adios Boost for a while and thought I would finally give my 2 cents. I like the fit. It has a wide enough forefoot without being sloppy. Great color (the orange). Great traction as some have mentioned. But I don't like the Boost. It's too firm for me. It is also very different than the Adios 2. The 2 had the very rockered toe that propelled your foot into the next stride. These don't have that. I ran 3 marathons in the 2. I got these to run Boston this past year, but they were just too firm so I didn't use them. Three weeks later I did use them for a half, but my feet felt a bit beat up after that. I've been trying to get used to them, but come race days keep going with other shoes. In the past I've run in Adizero Pros, RCs, and Rockets. These aren't like those since they are much heavier.

Comments: After 37 years of running I was advised to switch to mid-foot running to reduce my Achilles tendonitis, so I tried these shoes which have a lower heel to forefoot drop than the Nikes I'd been wearing for decades. I was skeptical that they would hold up because they look so compact and delicate but they are as tough as any shoe. I've always worn narrow heel, high arch, wide toe-box shoes and the Boosts seem like a racing flat version of that formula. The outsole is grippy after a short wear-in period where I'm scuffing the forefoot sole a bit. A very nice shoe at any distance race. I would think that if you were a heavy heel striker and are used to having multiple layers of foam in the sole cushioning your strike these might feel a bit harder on landing at first, but it just takes getting used to and I have not had any biomechanical issues. For reference though, I'm 160 pounds and less so I can't speak for heavier runners.

Comments: Fantastic shoe. The boost is all it claims to be - soft, spongy, responsive, durable. It's great. Traction is exceptional! Have never had an outsole as grippy as this. This is a big improvement in the upper from the previous non-boost model. The color is also awesome. Great for speed work or tempo runs. Depending on your weight and pace, could be a great marathon shoe.

Comments: Absolutely love this shoe except for one little flaw in the left shoe. There is a crease in the fabric which rubs my big toe during my runs.

Comments: These shoes are incredible. Used them for speed work and other training en route to using them for my first marathon (BQ!). They are light and durable. I thought I'd need to turf them after all that work, but they keep on going. I've calculated at least 700km on them now. I bought two more pairs for training next year.
