Customer Reviews

Comments: I love this headlight. I own about 3 different headlamps and this one (Black Diamond SPOT) is my favorite for running. It isn't too heavy and the battery life is pretty good. If you like having the option of different settings, this headlamp has options! The light is sometimes too bright for my run, but it has a dimming function. I sometimes wish that I could set it to a particular dimming setting and that the lamp would automatically go back to that dimmed setting, but it does not - it goes back to the brightest setting when I turn it back on - but this is not a big deal. For some folks brighter is better. But I just don't want to kill off my night vision. There is a blinking red function and a blinking white light function in addition to a bright center beam and two diffuse weaker lights on the side (you can't have all three white lights on at once). The light adjusts nicely up and down. Battery changing is a piece of cake for the 3 AAA batteries.
