Comments: This seemed like the perfect hydration pack for my first sort-of ultramarathon! It is wonderful-- the bladder is easy to refill, clean, and use, the pockets in front are perfect for my iphone, bars/gels, and other knick- knacks, and the back pocket holds a light jacket just fine. However...on my 5'2" 117 lb frame, it didn't fit comfortably enough to where I could last 50k. Once the bladder was filled and I put it on, I had to adjust it to almost the tightest buckle settings. While it remained snug against my body, the shoulder area was just too wide for my size, causing that area to slide back and forth with every stride (and probably chafing down the line). Bummer! If you're not short/petite, got for it!

Comments: I run appx. 50 miles per week, and run ultras. This pack does exactly what is needed for a 50-100 miler. The two front vert. pockets are more than enough to hold any size water bottles, (I prefer amphipod stuff, but the CB podium bottles fit just as well) phone, gels, food, etc...you get the picture. The bladder is brilliantly positioned as part of the pack, the wide mouth actually rests on a round lip as part of the pack. The shoulder straps are adjustable for any height. Let me echo Jeff's comments about the 2 minor complaints--there is not a "loop" to hang the vest on, and the chest straps do not have an elastic loop or velcro to hold the excess in place--minor. Definitely worth the $89.95 here-best CB pack I've owned.

Comments: First use it seemed to bounce on my shoulders a bit. On closer inspection I found the adjustable shoulder velcro straps. Second use no problems. May need slight tweeking here on out. I love the pockets. I run after work and I hate leaving wallet and phone in the car. Pretty much anything I need for a 2-4 hour run is now easily carried.

Comments: I have been using the Nathan 020 pack for the past few seasons for ultras from 50k up to 100 milers. It served me well loved the vest fit and function of the pockets but was looking for more storage. I got the camelbak matathoner a couple of weeks ago and have put it through the ringer up to a 50k. It rocks!!!! the vest has 2 straps across the chest to get a great fit, the 2 large front pockets could hold a water bottle(have not tried that yet) there are 2 smaller hidden pockets on the front staps as well, the back pocket hold a shell and a few other small items and cinches down tight with the bungee system. The best part are the bladder and the bladder holder. The bladder has a 1/4 turn lid that is super easy to twist, quick link removable hose and hidden dryer arms that flip down to hold the bladder open the dry. The holder is a velcro ring type system that holds the bladder in place making it very stable and super easy to refill WITHOUT removing the bladder! It is also adjustable to fit your torso length with velcro straps inside the pack. 2 minor complaints are no hang strap to pick the pack up by and the straps should have some type of elastic to hold them in place after you adjust them. I LOVE THIS PACK!
