Customer Reviews

Comments: I am a 60 year old runner and have been running for over 20 years. I have been using the N1 as an everyday training shoe. This is the most comfortable shoe that I have experienced. I am use to running is soft cushioned shoes like the Saucony Ride, these shoes do not have that much cushioning but it does not matter. The ride is amazing. I purchased these because many of my running buddies had said such great things about them. I was skeptical because of the lack of soft cushioning. After breaking the shoes in with a couple of 6 mile runs, my skepticism vanished. They are just fantastic running shoes. I also have a wider foot and the comfortable upper accommodates that. I hope they don't change much about them. My only concern is how long they will last. I have heard various opinions on that. I certainly would recommend these shoes. I have last year's color, which I like as well.

Comments: I'm impressed, I highly recommend people trying this. I'm considering it for my marathon. I've gone from the Saucony Kinvara, Newton Distance, Saucony Cortana to this. I was having a lot of arch pain in the lower 3-4mm offset range so tried this stack height and this shoe has been great. Ran about 40miles so far, mostly long distances, and they feel oddly supportive. The cushioning is not as soft as the Sauconys, so you have a semi firm feel of the road. Plenty of space in the toe box and the heel wraps nicely for me. I really like how simple the construction is in contrast to shoes with added garbage on them. I think future versions could work more on adding a bit more cushion under the mid/toebox area. What I find interesting about this sole is how it rocks if you put it flat on the ground and gently nudge the shoe. Also this isn't a high mileage shoe, I think the sole wont last beyond 200 miles on me (170/6'1").

Comments: I don´t know if the Dynamic offset is a gimmick or not; but what i can say is that these shoes are really comfortable. With so many options it is hard to try every one of them but I´ve tried a lot of shoes and this one is very well balanced. Upper comfort is among the best I´ve tried; PI´s Seamless upper is pioneer. The shoe is not firm but neither cushy; balanced. Weight could be improved but definitely feels light when running. It is not a racing flat in any way but a mid to long distance racer.
