Comments: I have tried just about everything out there, and Heed is the most reliable, stable energy source for ultra-endurance mountain biking events. Works with my stomach like a charm. I have used it for years.

Comments: I cannot stomach Heed...In fact, it ruined a recent 50k....I accidentally drank a cup (thinking it was water) at an aid station and was overcome with the most intense nausea (after feeling AMAZING for the 21 miles prior). Upon this, I did some research to see how it differed from my preferred fuel source (Tailwind) and discovered that they use Xylitol which they actually market to be a good thing. However, research has shown that a small number of the population suffers extreme reactions when ingesting even small doses of xylitol (primarily concentrated in the digestive system). I don't understand the need to utilize a zero-calorie sweetener in a supplement designed to provide energy. After talking to several ultra runners, what I experienced is not that uncommon.

Comments: This is by far the best electrolyte drink out there. No added sugar, and no citric acid to upset your stomach. Plus they taste great. I don't do a run or workout without it.
