Comments: Currently following a training plan (about 4 weeks in) from this book and it's going great. Some of the tactics that you'll learn are easily applied to your day-to-day training sessions. It also helped me from "racing the clock" during each of my training runs, a bad habit that I fell into as running became easier for me. I feel like I am training much smarter relative to my goals, my mentality is in a better place, legs are feeling great (for now), and it feels like I've been rejuvenated overall.
