Customer Reviews

Comments: Really disappointed in these, after years of being a dedicated New Balance user. Poorly constructed, were falling apart after 3 weeks. Thought maybe it was a one-time event, but second pair the same faults - top pulling away from sole after 3 weeks. In addition, support isn't nearly as good as it was in previous versions. Just an all-around negative experience with this model.

Comments: I agree have been buying new balance all my life and these are really bad. The shoe seems larger in the little toe area, so some of my toes rub against the front of the shoe after 3 steps. The v3 was was better and a lot more comfortable too.

Comments: Me again with more insights on the V4. The new version weights 355gr/shoe, size 10.5 compared to V3 317gr//shoe. It is like buying an economy car which burns gas like a truck.

Comments: Wow. Running for years and thousands of miles in 1260, V1, V2, V4 I would have never thought that New Balance can create/or innovate such an off running shoe. I'm a moderate slightly overpronator and all the previous versions fit me like gloves. I run around 80 miles a week with no problems for years. Pulled PB after PB with New Balance older versions. Now only after 30 miles into the "new" V4 my heels went busted. Calf pain included. As reading the specs I realized they completely changed towards a heavy overpronator and support + heel mumbo jumbo added things. Now currently trying to buy V3 where ever I find or maybe they will not discontinued.
