Customer Reviews

Comments: It took a few runs for my feet to get used to the shoes (being more minimal), but my god, they are comfortable. Running in these Newtons feels incredibly comfortable. Running simply feels more natural, with light weight and low shock. I will definitely be buying these again.

Comments: One of the Best Trail Shoes I've ever run in. I was recovering from a serious ITB issue and decided to try Newtons out to help with my recovery effort. If you haven't run in Newton's before (which I hadn't) they take a little getting used to. However, once you do, it will be a great running experience. These shoes protect your feet from snow and water like no other. I've run around 70miles in them with the longest being 14 miles, these shoes truly help your running form. They have helped me recover from my injury and I intend to use these for my next ultra. I highly recommend giving them a try.

Comments: I got these shoes about 4 months ago now and I love them. It took a little while to get used to the lugs, but now I don't even notice them. I got these to run the Jemez Mountains Trail Run half in Los Alamos, New Mexico. They work great on the loose rock and sandy terrain, and to cross the small creek every once in a while. My feet never got wet from the crossing creeks so far. That being said, my feet sweat like crazy in these shoes! So make sure you have some comfy, breathable sock for these shoes. I would recommend SmartWool. Also, the rock guard on the toes works great and, unlike other trail shoes I have tried in the past, the toe of the shoes does not pull up. I have really disliked the toe of the shoes going up in other trail shoes. It causes me to have shin splints. But not these! These are definitely my go-trail shoes now.
