Customer Reviews

Comments: I bought these after reading about the technology and the lightweight feel for racing. Normally I wear Hokas for training. I wore them the first day for just a mile or so then a few days later I added another mile or two. First of all, the lugs really are not that noticeable once you begin to run. They feel like they are painted on your foot and I am looking forward to using them in a 5K race. I have already purchased Distance and Gravity IIs 4 lugs for a discount and I think the 5th lug is a great addition. I hope to get heavy use out of these as they are now in my rotation. My daughter calls these my "McDonald Shoes."

Comments: First time user. I love the Gravity III's. Bought them in September 2014 and slowly worked them in to my weekly routine. Super comfortable and lightweight, but with enough cushion. I am not a small runner (200 lbs) but the cushioning seems fine. My only concern is that after only 170 miles I am starting to see some wear and tear and feel like I need to replace this pair. In my view this is too soon as I would have expected 250-300 miles from these shoes.

Comments: I started running on Newton's Gravity 3 since beginning of this year. I was used to Saucony Virrata and Progrids before. First thing I noticed was Newton's felt so much lighter even though Saucony's I was wearing were also lighter. Transitioned slowly and within few months I was able to put longer runs on these awesome shoes. At the end of my two previous marathons I had blood blisters on 2nd big toe and toe nails were falling off. Ran my third marathon at NYC on Newtons this year and was super pleased to finish with no blishers and all my toenails are still intact. I've tried them long runs even on trails and they support me perfectly fine on some technical terrains as well. I'm close to 300 miles on it and still dont see much wear yet.. My saucony's before pretty much used to be done by 300 miles. Highly recommend and I will buy them again. Wish they were cheaper.. :)

Comments: A nice improvement over the Gravity 2010 and 2012. Feels lighter and more flexible. 5th lug seems to add stability, and the cross-hatching on the outsole is grippier. Was hoping the 5th lug would improve long-run comfort for me - remains to be seen. Two runs so far - 8mi and 9mi with no blisters or complaints.
