Customer Reviews

Comments: I am a stocky 5'4" 160ish lbs with flat feet and bowed legs.  I've always loved the feeling of a minimal flat on trails but I could never really find and ideal one for my city running especially since most of them have too big of a heel to toe ratio to really encourage a proper barefoot running form.  These are the best minimalist shoe for running on pavement for someone with as many issues as me.  They provide just enough forefoot cushion but still well short of being mushy.  The heel to toe ratio is perfect for "ALMOST" barefoot runners.  And on top of it all, they look great in black once I changed the pink shoe laces.  I loved them so much I got a pair for my wife.  I only wish they had more in my size so I could stock up.  Hopefully adidas will come out with a newer version of this in black as well.

Comments: Good shoe all around, but not really for me.  The sole is a bit narrow, so I found myself landing on the medial edge of it, and thus collapsing in somewhat, thus suffering from some knee pain.  Also, my first-ever black toenail in 5 years of running came with this shoe - either go with a regular training shoe size and/or up half one. 7/10.

Comments: It is a really nice shoe, did a 5 mile workout in them straight out of the box, and they felt great. Nice and light, with a nice low heel height. They definitely run true to size, but going a half size up won't hurt.

Comments: Adidas fit and sizing (which is good for me).  Shoe is very similar to Rocket, except slightly lighter and more flexible.  This is not a "mushy" shoe and not for heel strikers, but is excellent for efficient runners and forefoot/midfoot strikers, and has good spring / pushoff (feels springy and fast).  Very good road racing shoe, but due to minimal outsole probably not great for much offroad with rocks.  I use the Rocket for training.
