feedback for Nike Lunar Lite Racer+ Men's Shoes Gry/Volt:
Comments: I just ran 9 miles on a treadmill, 2 hours after taking them out of the box. I shed 45 seconds from my personal best and can't wait to try them on the road. They seemed to force me to lean forward and yet it felt more comfortable and "balanced" to do so.

Comments: Wow! I ran a 12 miler at 6:30 pace right out of the box. They are by far the best shoes I've ever owned...

Comments: I have a wide forefoot and had to order 1/2 size larger AND not lace the two lowest shoestring eyelets. Otherwise they are too tight. Nonetheless, this is an amazing shoe.

Comments: Great shoe for tempo runs and races! I just got back from a 7 mile tempo run. I am 5'10, 180 pounds, but a mid-foot striker. The Lunar Lite Racer+ may not work for a heavy runners (like me), with a heel strike. This is the softest-light shoe I have ever worn. I am glad i pulled the trigger and gave them a try.

Comments: I've tried about 10 pairs of shoes over the last year and this shoe is by far the best light weight trainer for long distance running. I have no problem running 12-16 miles in this shoe. The only reason to ever use a heavier shoe like the lunar trainer is durability (i.e., cost). I don't run marathons, but I'm sure you would have no problem training for and running a marathon in this shoe.

Comments: These shoes would be great if the forefoot was a little wider. For me this causes pain and blisters on the side of my forefoot. Not very breathable either. Love the weight and the cushioning. If these fit your foot you will love them!

Comments: The manufacturer's description re fit is way off. This shoe has an exceptionally wide toe box that is fairly high (and I have a foot that usually prefers wide/high at the front and narrow at the heel). It also hits the front ankle bone unless you have very high ankles. Hence while the length is fairly true to size, the shoe is too roomy. The weight is great - it just needs to be redesigned more along the lines of a XC shoe - flat, light, snug... and thus responsive.
