Customer Reviews

Comments: This jacket is best suited for temperatures between 0-40F in windy, wet/rainy conditions. It is wind and waterproof as noted. I find that the hood really adds a significant dimension of warmth to the overall jacket, which eliminates any wind-chill from behind and keeps the face cozy on the front, not to mention keeping the head warm/dry in general. I only wear a single base layer (such as an UnderArmour cold gear shirt) under the jacket and I find 10-20F temperatures optimal (for me), finding a good balance between overheating/sweating and staying comfortably warm. For sizing, I am 5'-8" 130lb and fit "well" in a small though with a couple of picky items. The sleeves around the shoulder area aren't as roomy as I would like. This should not be an issue to most runners unless you have a body builder type shoulder. I also wish the sleeve length is an inch longer which would help cover up the hands but as is, if you wear warm enough gloves, it should also not be an issue. Last ly, zippering all the way up might feel uncomfortable for the throat/chin area. The neck could use about another inch of circumference. With that said, maybe selecting a size up if you are debating between two sizes may alleviate these minor items.

Comments: Stellar jacket. I live in Michigan, so I frequently run in cold, wet, & windy conditions. This jacket is perfect for it. If it's under 20F, just throw a half-zip on underneath. There's plenty of room to layer up. Love this jacket. One of the best investments I've made.
