Comments: Not the right shorts for me, but good none-the-less. They are well-designed with tons of ventilation and mobility. Waistband, liner, and materials are comfortable. I'm 155 lbs and 5'10". Most of my weight is leg muscle, so I need some material at the inseam to prevent thigh friction. My Adidas Response 3" shorts (still going from 2007) have plenty, but these are about 1/2" deficient. I find myself riding too high or too low to prevent chafing. These shorts are
fine for 5K race day, but as a marathoner they just don't work for my body and running style.

Comments: I really like these shorts. Short, but not too short, not too tight, and the liner is snug and provides good support without binding or chafing. I ordered the black ones, and after running in them one time, immediately ordered the blue ones. These will be my "go to" shorts for the foreseeable future. At this price, I may order another pair as backup...

Comments: These are hands down my favorite shorts. I remember dreading having to wear our X-country uniform split shorts when I was in high school and was very leery on even trying a shorter short. These are great, no chafe, and the length is not as scary as once thought. My only complaint would be the draw strings are awkward. They are tied
from inside the waistband of which to me, sort of defeats the purpose of the lining continuing to the top of the waistband. I just leave them untied and let them hang outside the short. All in all a great short.

Comments: Hands down, one of the best shorts available today. I've run multiple marathons (including the 2011 Chicago Marathon yesterday) and 1/2s in this style and NOTHING beats this short from Brooks. The liner does not chafe (regardless of the heat or the distance), and the dual stash pockets will hold 2 gel packets each - enough fuel for a full marathon! I have 6 pairs of this style of short...I won't run in anything else.
