Comments: Not impressed with Breath Thermo. This layer easily gets wind through it, so you really only stay warm when it's not at all windy. Also, the fabric is not all that warm, so it's really only OK for 45+ degree days. Cannot wear this as the only layer in low 40's or below 40 (I did it for a half marathon in 40's and it was alright, felt a little chilly). On the plus side, great fit and looks good. Fitted means no nipple chafe on long runs. The sleeves are perhaps just a touch short, but usually you'd wear gloves that would overlap. I like that the length is not excessive, so you don't get a bunch of bunched up fabric at the bottom. Personally, I have much better luck with Nike Hyperwarm stuff for cold single-layer wear.

Comments: Did my second run in this shirt today and it works. My first run was 38 degrees, sunny and no wind. My second run was 42 degrees, breezy winds and sun. I stayed warm wearing this shirt as a baselayer with only a t-shirt on top. No arm or core discomfort. I wanted the cheapest shirt to try before buying multiples of the more expensive shirts. I have experimented with other shirts and combos but none have felt this comfortable. I was skeptical this shirt could actually take your sweat and turn it into heat. I am highly impressed and will use the Mizuno Breath Thermo all winter. I am buying more M.B.T. products to outfit myself for winter.
