Customer Reviews

Comments: I have two pairs of the 2011 Maverick splits and bought a pair of the 2012 version.  I've run in these in hot, cold, rain, and sweat-soaking conditions, both training runs and races. They've held up great and are very comfortable. I'm between M and L and sized up. As a result, the waistband is larger than I'd prefer ... but the drawstring snugs them nicely without digging into me (I usually never use the drawstring in shorts). I'd buy again and may try the M next time.

Comments: I bought both 2011 and 2012 version for endurance running. Good design & shape, but very disappointing fabric selection. The biggest problem is both fabric and liner are coarse. In fact they both rub my skin to such that I have to limit use for 6 mile run or less, otherwise I’ll literally see blood under skin. I have never had the issue with Nike or any other brand. I believe Mizuno scarified too much comfort for quick-dry. I hope they fix this problem in 2013. Otherwise they give me no choice but stop buying.
