Customer Reviews

Comments: I cannot begin to explain how comfortable these are. Next to Pearl Izumi's "ultra" shorts these are the best that I have.

Comments: I price checked these shorts and read the reviews at the PI site. Reviews said "size down one size" I took a large at 191 pounds/6 feet - this was true. Zipper pocket is hard to use for gels - true. I've found the pocket is good for keys/beer money. After 30+ years of running, maybe the best shorts I have ever had. I'll be back.

Comments: Let's face it, most, if not all, outer shells of running shorts are made of some kind of moisture wicking fabric. Where you really want them to perform is in the liner. Nobody cares what they look like when they've been running for a while and you start to chafe in the usual areas of your legs. Well I've finally found the shorts that let me run comfortably with worrying about chafing. I've run 18 miles in these with a 20 miler coming up tomorrow and I know these will perform wonderfully. The liner is obviously polyester, but it seems to be a little thicker than other liners I've tired. It doesn't get hot or uncomfortable. All stitching faces away from the skin. I'd say the liner fits like a really good pair of briefs and doesn't ride up anywhere. Length is pretty typical for this kind of a short. It's short, but not too short. I have a pair of North Face that I thought were going to be my favorite but they are a bit too short and the liner is not comfortable for anything above 8-10 miles. I've tired everything from the above mentioned to RR Sports, NB and Nike. Nothing comes close to these. I even bought another pair because I love them so much. For size comparison I wear a medium. I'm 6 feet tall and weigh 158lbs. Inseam is a 34. I just remeasured the inseam on the shorts and they are just under 4 inches. Bottom line. If you have any discomfort or chafing high in the inner thigh area from other shorts these might be what you're looking for.
