Comments: I've recently gotten back into running. Over the past couple months I've steadily added to the miles I run each time and improved my times per mile. But I had sort of plateued. I was starting to have a harder and harder time with recovery. A friend suggested trying compression tights and after shopping around a while I bought a pair of Zoot thermal compression tights. Tight is right. You can't casually pull these on or off. But, that's fine. It's a corollary of their providing serious graduated compression. I wasn't that excited about running around town in tights but the thing about these is they're so tight and compressing that they're actually not very revealing. Best of all, since using these tights and also wearing the Zoot compression socks, my calf soreness in between runs has been diminished and I've felt like I had a little more gas in the tank at the end of each run. They're expensive but I would definitely recommend them to a friend.
