INTRODUCTION

Adidas has changed the Belligerence for Fall 2010 but it remains as a cross country spike designed for 3k to 10k distances. A new spike plate and forefoot Traxion are engineered for lightweight traction. This spike has a semi-curved shape.

CUSHIONING

To keep weight down, this shoe contains no additional cushioning technologies.

MIDSOLE

Lightstrike EVA is a full length midsole that is lighter than conventional compression molded EVA and is designed to provide cushioning.
Torsion System runs along the bottom of the midfoot and is a wishbone shaped thermoplastic unit that is gender engineered to allow the forefoot and rearfoot to move independently for increased stability.

UPPER

Open Mesh is used throughout the upper and provides breathability.
Adidas Logo overlays are strategically placed to wrap the upper around the foot.
EVA Sockliner is perforated for breathability and designed for underfoot cushioning.
Slip Last involves wrapping and stitching the upper in a bootie-like shape before it is glued to the midsole to increase flexibility and decrease weight.

OUTSOLE

TPU Plate is utilized at the forefoot and is a thermoplastic plate designed for efficiency and lightweight durability.
Traxion is positioned at the forefoot is engineered for increased traction.
