Customer Reviews

Comments: I love the ASICS Blur 33, I just finished the Ironman Miami 70.3 (half IM distance) and ran a very comfortable 13 miles (after the 56 mile bike). These shoes move naturally with mi feet, and still offer enough support, cushioning and protection. I feel like I can just concentrate on running and forget about the shoes. I am a heavy runner (200lbs) and have neutral feet. I have
been running for more than 4 years, and have tested more than 20 pairs of shoes (love testing shoes) I am sticking with these for a while, I will be running Miami Marathon in 7 weeks in them. (By the way, I run with Orange Superfeet insoles in all my shoes, although I feel comfortable in the Blur 33s without them, just feel better at the end of the run when my feet may get tired.)

Comments: I am a big Asics fan, but the Blur33 is a different fit then I am used to. Everything feels fine except that the material that covers the arch of the foot (the part with the lace holes) is oddly short, such that a lot more of the tongue shows and there is barely any lace left to tie. The result is that I have to lace the shoes tighter then I want. I checked and these are my usual medium width. I am going to have to find longer shoe laces, but in the end the upper still won't feel like other Asics. Really odd in my opinion. The shoe fits fine otherwise, runs well, and as expected with a minimal shoe there is less cushioning. If they could make the upper feel the same as the rest, I'd put this shoe at the top of my list.

Comments: I just ran in these for the first time tonight and I have to say the GEL 33 are one of my top 3 pairs of shoes that I have ran in. And that is saying something cause I am in the Army and have ran in a few pairs of shoes.

Comments: Wow! Great Shoe! Love the snug fit.. I came from Nike Free's. Felt like the Nikes were too sloppy on the top and broke down too fast. These are great from the not quite the extreme minimalist sole to the snug fit. Also has a very light and airy feel! Great job Asics!
