Customer Reviews

Comments: Best neutral shoe on the market right now hands down.  Comfort, cushioning, weight, durability... It can't be beat!  I just hope adidas doesn't change too much with the next version!  I've worn the Wave Rider, Ghost, Pegasus, Nimbus, and Cumulus in the past.  None of them are even close.  If you've worn any of those shoes in the past and are looking for a change, I would definitely recommend the Glide.

Comments: This is one unbelievable shoe. I've had 5 pairs already, and am about to purchase 2 more to get me through the winter. I've worn the Mizuno Wave Rider, Asics Gel Cumulus, Nike Pegasus, Saucony Ride, and Brooks Ghost, and frankly, none of them are even close. Excellent work adidas! Keep it up!
From: Dave, USA

Comments: Nice soft feel and flexible support.  Felt great went first started running but after first run noticed bruised feeling around ankles.  Most of upper soft and flexible but there is a reinforced collar around the top that causes irritation just under ankle (admittedly I have a little bump of a bones that sticks out there).  Also sore on achillies and have notice more stiffness day after run than my other shoes-- may not be shoe related but ankle problem definitely is.  Great feeling shoe but be certain there is no rubbing when you try them because after 3 miles that small irritation will become bad.

Comments: Struggled for a while to find a shoe that I truly loved after Mizuno updated the Wave Rider 13's, but this is finally it.  There is nothing I don't like about the Glide 4's.  Great fit, comfortable, enough cushion without being bulky, lightweight enough for a daily trainer.  Planning on stocking up on these immediately.
From: Teddy, Waltham, MA, USA

Comments: Adidas has returned to the neutral trainer market with the Glide 4! Reminiscent of the great, old Supernova Cushions, only with a lower profile midsole. This is what the Pegasus, Vomero, Cumulus, Ghost, Rider, etc. should aspire to be when they grow up. Outstanding upper and lacing system. Excellent cushioning and feel. 6'2' 190, 50 miles per week, high arch contoured foot.
From: Bill, Springfield, TN USA

Comments: Nice update, with a softer upper and a less bulky feel.  The ride is smooth and stable.
From: Tim, Abbotsford, BC Canada.

Comments: This version has a nice soft upper and a softer, smoother missile.  The ride as a result is soft, light yet smooth and stable. this feels more like the supernova cushions of a few years ago but with a better upper.
