feedback for Asics Gel Nimbus 11 Men's Shoes Wh/Blue:
Comments: I love the Asics Gel Nimbus when it was dry. My first purchase was for the Nimbus 10 and now the Nimbus 22. i have had the issue of water/sweat collecting under the trusstic. When I turn my shoes over to inspect the heels, i can see it roll around like fluid in a level. Drying them for more than 48 hours under a fan doesn't help. When you train in Florida in the summer, you can't help but sweat until you trip. Apparently this design has a flaw when it comes to moisture or heavy sweating. And yes, it then makes them stink!

Comments: Cushioning and fit are great, but they stay wet from sweat forever. The memory foam cushioning just won't dry out. Ran 24 miles in them on a Saturday placed them on an AC vent at home and they were still damp Tuesday morning. Visible water is present between the heel and forefoot. Since they won't dry out, they stink to high heaven. One of my running buddies has the same issues. I went through several pairs of the Nimbus 10 and like the fit and feel of the 11, but I won't get another pair due to the moisture problems.

Comments: 49 years old 5'9" 180lbs - run 20 to 30 miles per week. I plan to run my first 1/2 this fall and all goes well a full in the spring. I have run in many different Asics models over the years. The Nimbus 11's are the best shoes yet. Right out of the box the day they arrived I tested them on a 10 mile run. I found them to be comfortable, light weight with excellent cushion in both the heel and forefoot. This is a great shoe.

Comments: 6 feet, about 180 lb (or a few less on a good day) and run 20-30 miles per week, 1 or 2 races per month
and am training for a 1/2 in Oct. I previously ran in (including a 1/2 marathon) two different pair of Nimbus 10 and
thought they were very well cushioned, but too narrow in the forefoot (resulting in a big callus on the outer ball of left
foot). I have only 2 runs of 5 mi each in the Nimbus 11 and my initial impressions are they are lighter, more breathable,
softer and more flexible over the top of the foot and roomier in the forefoot. They are very comfortable to run in, so
much so that you almost don't realize how hard you're running because the impact is not there (compared to a pair of
Nimbus 10 with 200 miles or so on them) and you look down and see your pulse is 160...So far a great shoe, am hoping
they last as well as the 10s (got about 600 mi on my first pair).
