Customer Reviews

Comments: I've worn this shoe from 5K to marathon distances for road running. It's very light but it offers stability support for those who need it, and it's a fast shoe, and it performs almost like a racing flat. I've done runs as fast as 5:30 minutes per MILE for 12K runs without feeling beat up. Wet weather traction is very good as I've ran down steep hills in rainy conditions without slipping. I've had no problems when running up and down rocky/gravel/muddy trails in freezing conditions too. It's very good shoe for trail running too because the Continental rubber has good traction. This would be the perfect shoe for The North Face Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanc or Western States Endurance Run, as it's light enough for ultra marathons, while the stability support is a must for the later stage of the runs. This is one of the 2nd fastest performing shoes from Adidas for road running, as the Adidas Adios line is the king. Negatives: Lacing the shoe fairly tightly is important to prevent heel slippage - heel goes up and slightly forward, but once the lacing is tight enough, you won't have this problem. All in all, this is an excellent elite level fast performing racer/trainer which can used on the road, track, and trail.
