Comments: A great lightweight trainer for anyone looking to ditch their heavy "over pronation" shoes. I was diagnosed a a moderate to severe over pronator and as such, my last shoe was the Asics Gel Kayano 18, very heavy and very heavily cushioned.

After a few months, I wanted to try something lighter and more neutral, so I picked up the Asics Gel Extreme33, and my feet and joints felt fantastic after the first day, an eight mile tempo run (6:40 pace). After two weeks and about 75 miles, my legs still feel good and the shoes are holding up well.

Pros:
Flexible, but feels stable enough for trail runs
Helps transition to forefoot striking and correct foot plant
Relatively lightweight for trainers
Inexpensive - only $80
Moderate cushioning to protect feet

Cons:
Short laces - not enough to double knot, although I haven't had them come undone during a run yet
Needs more ventilation - feet can feel hot after a run, but I don't notice it during

Comments: A very nice smooth ride with a good feel for both fast and long runs. Fits wider than the lyte33 and is better cushioned.
