Comments: I became a Brooks fan with my first pair of Adrenalines. They are the best shoes I have found to help
prevent shin splints. I have tried other brands, and while they were very comfortable to my feet, I always had trouble with shin
splints. My local running shop didnt carry the Glycerins, so when I saw the new 5's at Running Warehouse, I took a shot and I
love them. I havent decided if I like them more than the Adrenalines yet, but they are close, and the Glycerin seems to hold up
better. Keeps its form longer. I give it an 8 out of 10.

Comments: I have a very bony long foot and these shoes fit great. There is ample toe box
room and the cushioning is nice and firm not squishy. This is one of the few shoes on the
market that accepts custom orthotics with minimal heel slippage. I wil keep running in this
model shoe as long as they keep making it.

Comments: Bought these to see if I could get a little more cushion on over 6 mile runs that I do weight 165 height
5'11'', I really enjoy the fit of the Radius 6 that I bought last year. These are very light shoes that after the 6th run form to my feet
like my Radius 6 did. I like the shoe but still prefer the Radius 6 over the more expensive Glycerin 5's.

Comments: I've been wearing Brooks glycerins since they were called Hyperions. They have been my favorite
running
shoe for more than 6 years. I have fallen arches so I wear arch supports, but no other shoe (and i've tried alot of them) feels
better.
I'm very prone to shin splints too and these shoes seem to help here as well. Ive really put these shoes through their paces over
the
years, I've ran 4 years of track in them in high school and college, no other shoe feels as good. I'll wear them as long as brooks
keep
making them.

Comments: I like these shoes. I have run a few easy 4-5 mile runs in them as well as an 11 mile jaunt through the
snow with a pair of Yak Trax strapped on. The traction on them isn't the greatest but the curved last is great on my borderline
high
arches. I'm not a big guy but I'm not a starving runner either (5'9, 185 lbs or so) and the firm insole feels very good to me. I
think it
has a deep heel cup and I get no heel slippage. I haven't put my arch support insoles in but I think the heel cup would be deep
enough to accommodate them. I was very surprised to feel how light these shoes are and I think that I may have found a shoe I
like
better than my Adidas Boston Classics.
