Customer Reviews

Comments: Good shoe for midfoot strikers with med/high arch. Just had my first run in this shoe and though I obviously can't attest to durability, but I can say it was a nice comfortable run out of the box for this 190 pound midfoot striker. It is not marshmallowy but there is a lot of shoe underneath but yet you still feel connected to the road. Upper is very comfortable. Brooks lasts and my foot usually don't get along but this seems to be just about right for my medium/narrow heel and wide forefoot. I don't know about ventilation for summer running but for this morning's 8 degree run it was confortable. It also has above average responsiveness for a shoe in the neutral plus category. All in all I am pleased with it and would recommend for fit, function and feel

Comments: I have 450 miles on my Brooks 11. They have held up very well and don't cause me any problems. I don't normally put so many miles on a pair of shoes but since I haven't felt any discomfort running I didn't realize I'd gotten that many miles. I run 40 - 50 miles per week and completed a marathon last month wearing my Brooks 11. I will be replacing them with the same shoe.

Comments: I now have 350 miles on my 11's. The heel is worn down from scuffing the pavement but other than that they are still providing a very protective ride. I never got a pair of Nike's past 250 and the newest generation...150. I'm sold on Brooks.

Comments: Just bought my first pair of Brooks Glycerin 11. Felt comfortable and totally relaxed and in control of my stride. So far so good.

Comments: These shoes were great for the first 100-120 miles. I looked forward to putting them on, never any discomfort during walk/run, and never any leg or foot pain during or after run. Unfortunately, I had to retire them by 180 miles. Somewhere in the 150 mile range they started feeling loose and sloppy in the toes. By 175 miles the soles were worn out on the balls of my feet and starting causing me pain. 5 stars for initial fit and comfort, 2 stars for durability.
From: Dale (20-25 mi/wk, 210 lbs), Cincinnati, OH

Comments: I now have 100 miles on this shoe and am loving it. The wording chosen to describe the 11 in the product review is what got me to try it. "It sits on the firmer side". "has a protective feel". I weigh 215 and run 35 mi/wk. I needed a shoe that could handle that kind of impact yet feel responsive. It is not squishy or marshmellowy. I am very pleased.
