Customer Reviews

Comments: This is a really nice shoe for winter running, which is what I bought it for. Windchills were -5 this morning and the shoes kept my feet warm running through light snow. They fit a bit loose overall and lost a bit of support as a result. However, the wide forefoot was a pleasant surprise as my feet were able to move quite naturally. I'd suggest ordering true to size or rather 1/2 size down than regular running shoes. The shoe feels relatively light and responsive. Responsiveness could be enhanced by a 1/2 size down. I'm accustomed to zero/low drop shoes and despite the higher drop the shoes felt stable/low to the ground and natural to run in. Protection on the shoe did great with hard frozen earth, snow, and ice. Haven't run on rock but the rubber seems quite sticky and the protection is ample for such a light gore-tex shoe. I've used various gore-tex shoes for winter running and these are one of my favorites. The roclite 312 gtx provided a significantly more n atural feel than most gore-tex running shoes, while providing reasonable support and protection
