For all-weather, door-to-trail runability, the Inov-8 Terrafly 313 GTX offers minimal cushioning and a firm ride.

Trail or road, rain or shine, this shoe does it all. Designed to endure running on both surfaces, the Terafly 313 GTX has a tough sticky rubber outsole that provides excellent grip on rocky trails and still offers an even ride for road running. It is built with an anatomical fit that hugs the foot closely in all the right places. The GORE-tex lining keeps feet dry in wet conditions, while a moderately thick midsole provides protection on and off the road.

Customer Reviews

Comments: Update -- 200 miles and more comfortable than ever.  No wear at all.  These are a bit short (I could easily wear a 12) but I wear them without socks so no issues.  Anything but the thinnest socks would be an issue if I wanted socks.

This is an outstanding shoe.  I now have about 60 miles on it, including dry, snow, wet, road and trail.  The build quality is premium.  Shoe feels substantial despite its lightness.  Totally dry in small puddles and snow (haven't gone over the collar in water -- that would not be dry!).  Feels pretty good at speed, not clunky.  Gore Tex lining can make for a warm shoe but that's par for the course.  I wear an 11.5 in almost everything and I'm an 11.5 in this shoe, too.  My second pair of Inov-8s (other is X-Talon 190) and I could not like either pair more. This is a great do-everything shoe for Spring, Fall and Winter for those who mix roads and trails.
