Get down to business in the f-lite 195 from Inov8. The f-lite 195 is a very lightweight, minimalist trail shoe that offers a high level of proprioception with its super thin midsole. With only a 2mm drop height from heel to toe, the f-lite 195 promotes natural foot motion and keeps runners stable and nimble. It's also super flexible. The outsole on the f-lite 195 can be worn over loose terrain, but performs best over hardpack surfaces and is suitable for pavement.

Customer Reviews

Comments: This is a good minimalist shoe for varied surfaces and conditions.  If I am going for a race or run that includes both road and trail, I pack this shoe.  I have used it on long, 20+ milers and on short track workouts.  It's a workhorse.  You can expect the sticky rubber on the outsole to wear down about as quickly as the Vibram outsoles on the NB Trail Minimus or the Merrell Trail Glove.  Take care not to lace too tightly--I did and ended up with some stubborn metatarsal pain.  Pretty sure that was user error, not a shoe flaw.  I normally go 0-drop, but these are great for those days when you need a little more oomf to your shoe.
