Comments: I think these shoes are pretty great but are definitely not an all around shoes. I would not recommend them for very rocky terrain - they are way too flexible. Also after only 4 runs the outer started to break down. So I had to return them. I wouldnt get them as your main trail shoes - maybe for racing on muddy, grassy terrain then i think they'd work really great...

Comments: Love these things.  Did a 50 mile ultramarathon on fairly technical terrain in these.  The race started with a rain storm and included some streams, and these were fantastic the whole way.  No hot spots, no blisters.  Scree guard did its job, and there's enough toe protection for late-race-coordination loss.

Comments: Gnarly low drop trail runners.  Great flat sole, which feels very similar to my Inov8 Road-X 233.  With very little in the way of arch support, these are the most natural trail runners I've worn with lugs sufficient for technical terrain.  The scree guard does a fantastic job keeping out debris on trails with a lot of sand, sticks and leaves, and gives you a place to tuck the laces away.  Developed no hot spots or blisters on an 80 minute run.  These are lightweight but have plenty of protection underneath and in the toe for rocks.  Highly recommended if you are accustomed to a low heel drop and want something tough for the trail. Shaved the back lugs down some to scallop the heel a bit which makes a walking heel strike much more acceptable.  I usually wear size 11 and 45cm fit my feet well.
