Customer Reviews

Comments: These shoes are AWESOME!! The fit is perfect for my foot. Just returned 2 pairs of Mizunos, {which I usually love} & always have to get size 12 to fit my width & then they're a little too long. I ordered 11-1/2 2EE w/ this New Balance & I can snug em up perfectly on each foot! Absolutely Love walking, jogging & working out in these. Very light compared to what I'm use to & walking in these is a DREAM! I got the last 11-1/2 2EE pair available or I'd get another pair for later. They ain't lookin too bad either!

Comments: Good all around shoe and a huge improvement over the leaden 1060 series. The cushioning is very firm and protects my feet very well, but if you like soft, squishy shoes this is not a shoe for you. Works on or off road and is holding up very well.
From: Dave, Central CT

Comments: This comment from the product review "Landing and liftoff during a midfoot strike was just not as smooth as we thought it would be." is dead-on. Very lightweight and fairly responsive, but severely lacking in cushioning where it counts for midfoot or forefoot strikers. Some good features in this shoe but it needs refining.

Comments: This shoe is a disappointment from New Balance.  I have worn this model since the 1060 through the current 1080v2 and this one misses the mark.  The fit is all off (length - 1/2 size small and width - too narrow) from previous models and it lacks sufficient forefoot cushioning.  Hopefully New Balance gets it right with the next version because this has been the best Neutral Plus shoe on the market for years.  6'  190 Lbs  High Arch  Wide Forefoot
