Customer Reviews

Comments: The 990v3 does not fit the same as other shoes in the 990 series. I have worn every model that has come out for twenty years, always in a "d" width. This version is narrower and slightly shorter. Thanks to the Running Warehouse free shipping on returns, I exchanged for a "2e". I usually keep two pairs of these shoes to alternate, but the soles on the 990's were too soft and wore out quickly. I also had a problem with the graphite support in the center of the shoe cracking and producing an odor when wet. This time I ordered only one pair of the version 3 to see if the problems have been corrected. If not, it will be time to drop New Balance from the brands I wear.

Comments: I couldn't get these shoes to work for me. I tried my normal size and they were large, so I returned them and got a 1/2 size smaller. These are too small. I really wanted to like these shoes as they say they are a great choice for high mileage and daily training but the sizes seem to be very goofy, I've been using New Balance for about 5 years now. My mileage is around 30 - 40 miles a week
