INTRODUCTION

The LunarElite+ 2 is a moderate feature, mild to moderate support shoe designed for daily training and high mileage. It is built with a semi-curved shape.

CUSHIONING

• Lunarlon cushioning system uses a soft, durable foam core held inside of a supportive foam carrier to give lightweight, responsive cushioning. 

MIDSOLE

• Lunarlon cushioning system uses a soft, durable foam core held inside of a supportive foam carrier to give lightweight, responsive cushioning. 
• Dynamic Support layers the Lunarlon foam core with the Phylon carrier to produce a denser medial midsole to help reduce over pronation.
• Crash pad is located at the bottom, lateral heel. This highly decoupled unit is gender-specific and reduces shock at impact and reduces the degree and rate of pronation.

UPPER

• Open mesh covers large expanses of the upper, providing great breathability.
• Microfiber Synthetic overlays are located in the rearfoot and forefoot to further lock down the upper for a snug fit.
• Flywire is utilized at the medial and lateral midfoot and is composed of high tensile strength fibers sandwiched between a layer of TPU and foam. It is engineered to provide a strong, lightweight, and dynamic fit.
• Heel Collar is composed of neoprene foam intended for a custom fit at the heel.
• Dual-layer Ortholite sockliner with Fitsole geometry sits underfoot and provides additional cushioning and comfort.
• Phylon Strobel Last completes the upper construction and adds one more layer of cushioning.

OUTSOLE

• BRS 1000 carbon rubber is located along the heel for durability.
• Environmentally Preferred Rubber is located in the forefoot and provides multi-surface traction.
• Flex Grooves are gender specific and specifically placed to enhance flexibility and efficiency.
• Waffle outsole design in the forefoot provides multi-surface traction and a touch of cushioning.
